Dan Rahill hadn’t seen his good friend, and fellow Notre Dame Alumn, Michael Moran, for several months at the usual Irish Entrepreneur meetings Michael hosted/sponsored as SVP, Commercial Banking at American Chartered Bank. Michael informed Dan that his son, Brannon, had brain cancer and he had been with him during his treatment. Brannon still spends much of his time at the hospital and, as such, Michael was unsure if he and Brannon could accompany Dan and his son, Kevin to the Bulls game on the 22nd. As it turned out, Brannon played a starring role in what was coincidentally, the same night the Bulls were celebrating “Youth Health & Wellness Night.
Dan, Michael and the boys were already sitting in FGMK firm floor seats when an anonymous couple offered up their two seats on the floor next to Marv Albert and Hall of Famers, Reggie Miller and Grant Hill. Reggie pulled Brannon up on his lap as he announced the game, just one of the many highlights of Brannon’s memorable night with his dad. It was a great night topped off by a big win!
