Brian provides auditing, accounting, strategic planning and tax planning services. He also manages special client projects, including mergers and acquisitions and issues associated with complex financial and organizational structures, forecasts and projections.
In addition, Brian regularly leads specialized and financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, contract reviews, personnel searches and budgeting. He provides an array of advisory services, including performing outsourced accounting and CFO services, working with clients from basic blocking and tackling "closing the books" to strategic financial review and assessment of operating performance with business owners. He offers specialized expertise in Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) as well as indirect cost rate audits under the provisions of Part 31 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
His primary industries served comprise of professional services, including architectural and engineering firms, as well as in healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, technology and not-for-profit organizations.
Brian was previously the controller of a Chicago-based health insurance company. He joined FGMK in 2000 and was promoted to Partner in 2003.
