Background/Expertise:

Michael joined FGMK, LLC in 1995 after working as a manager with KPMG providing audit services for privately held and public companies. He became a Partner in January 2000. Michael works with clients in the areas of assurance and strategic financial planning. He has developed a reputation for his analytical thinking and ability to bring systems and financial controls to very complicated client structures. Michael's clients include some of the firm's most sophisticated businesses who benefit from his skilled reporting and consulting capabilities.

His areas of concentration include accounting, auditing and consulting for manufacturing, distribution, real estate and service industries among others. He specializes in assisting closely-held, middle market businesses maximize their profitability through the implementation of comprehensive strategic planning. This includes assisting clients evaluate their financial health and providing sound practical advice to streamline their operations. Michael has had extensive experience assisting clients with mergers and acquisitions including deal structure, due diligence, and financing.

In addition to his client responsibilities, Michael is also the Partner-in-Charge of Quality Control at the firm and oversees the technical aspects of assurance engagements.
