Judy works with health care organizations in most aspects of their businesses, such as strategic planning, mergers and business and practice start-ups, including hospital-physician joint-ventures and ambulatory surgical center development. She works with our health care clients on their day to day accounting and tax planning issues. Judy also manages FGMK's health care consulting practice and is a resource for the unusual projects such as medical practice valuations, physician employment contract reviews, physician compensation determination, managed care contract reviews, revenue enhancement reviews, and financial forecasts.
Background:
A senior accountant on the audit staff of Price Waterhouse (now Price WaterhouseCoopers) for five years, Judy left to become the controller of a large Chicago real estate firm. In 1983 she joined an Ohio CPA firm that specialized in the health care industry and worked there two years before returning to Chicago and joining FGMK, LLC.

Judy is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Boyd Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, IL. She is also on the Dean's advisory council for the Business and Management College at Northeastern Illinois University, where she is an adjunct professor. She also teaches medical practice management at Southern Illinois University Medical School and she is a frequent speaker to national consulting and physician organizations.
